COALTAR OF THE DEEPERS is a Japanese band that was formed in May 1991 by NARASAKI (aka NACKIE, Goro Watari...) (vocals, guitar, programming) [ex-RinjyuZange, ex- def. master, ex- astrobrite], KANNO (drums) [ex- Captain Condoms, ex- COCOBAT, ex- MONKEY TRICK, ex- stereoscope, ex- Piece Pix, ASYLUM, DEMONS, Modonni Crue], and YOSHIO [KAWANAKA] (bass).
Their genre of music is shoegaze-influenced but their style of music varies from genre to genre (i.e. metal, techno, and more).
